Our client, a world‑renowned High‑Frequency Trading (HFT) firm, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong software engineering capabilities. In this role, you will design new platforms, tackle complex distributed‑systems challenges, and collaborate with highly skilled engineering teams to enhance and safeguard a mission‑critical environment where speed, reliability, and security are paramount.

We are looking for engineers who thrive on ownership, deep technical problem‑solving, and writing clean, production‑quality software. Strong Python and Golang experience, solid Linux/UNIX systems knowledge, and the ability to debug intricate issues are essential. Interest about security, a passion for fast learning, and strong computer‑science fundamentals will set you up for success. Additional experience in automation, configuration management, CI/CD, or networking protocols is highly valued

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build tools to automate secure machine provisioning, monitoring, metrics collection, and life cycle maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain systems for secrets management, network configuration, and infrastructure reliability.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux systems, including application, networking, OS, and kernel‑level problems.
  • Write high‑quality software in Python or Golang to support systems engineering workflows.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain new services using configuration management and automation frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a highly distributed, low‑latency production environment.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (BS/MS).
  • Strong production‑level programming skills in Python and/or Golang.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/UNIX systems, especially Debian‑based environments.
  • Ability to debug complex distributed‑systems issues across applications, networks, and operating systems.
