About the Role
A member of the leadership team, responsible for the management and deployment of web applications to deliver the digital product roadmaps. Pioneering DevOps technology and leading an agile development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline & Automation: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep or Azure Resource Manager.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Manage and monitor Azure (or other cloud platforms) environments for performance and cost efficiency.
- Implement containerisation strategies using Docker.
- Security & Compliance: Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines (“shift-left” approach).
- Ensure compliance with internal governance and external standards.
About You
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep or ARM templates for automated resource provisioning.
- Familiarity with containerisation (Docker).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
