Accounts Technician / Accounts Senior – Business Services Team
The Role
As an Accounts Technician / Accounts Senior in the Business Services team, you will play a pivotal role in producing client accounts, delivering high-quality services, and producing high quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing year-end accounts for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Supporting junior staff with training and development.
- Liaising directly with clients to ensure smooth communication and problem-solving.
- Working closely with senior managers and partners on client advisory projects.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
The Ideal Candidate
- AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACA (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in an accountancy practice environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and client engagement.
