About the Team
The UK Content team partners with the country’s leading broadcasters, digital publishers and creators across entertainment, sport, and news organisations to accelerate content growth and scale on TikTok.
Overview of Role
We are seeking a positive, self‑motivated, and highly organised Programs & Publisher Manager to lead partner‑facing initiatives that enable informative creators and publishers to accelerate content growth and elevate quality on TikTok. The role will oversee the rollout of high‑impact growth programs and manage a portfolio of publisher partners, helping them optimise performance, scale their presence, and increase the supply of high‑quality content on the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
- Execute program concepts and initiatives to accelerate informative content in the UK.
- Lead end‑to‑end project management for news programs, optimizing performance for maximum impact.
- Define, establish, and track key metrics to measure program success and inform continuous improvement.
- Deliver regular performance reports and provide actionable insights to refine program execution.
- Maintain strong communication with Product and News teams to ensure seamless program execution.
- Coordinate with XFN partners such as Finance, Procurement, Legal, Marketing, GBS, and Comms to ensure accurate budget tracking, smooth administrative processes, and compliance with financial, policy and legal requirements.
- Manage and negotiate with external suppliers to execute programs and events, ensuring alignment on deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.
Publisher Management
- Manage a portfolio of UK informative content publishers to drive their growth and success on TikTok.
- Act as the UK market expert for product teams, communications and policy teams – translating publisher needs and industry trends into actionable insights that inform business direction.
- Support content acquisition efforts and lead onboarding for new publishers, expanding the breadth of content and enhancing the overall user experience.
- Equip partners to make the most of TikTok’s tools, analytics, and best practices, driving stronger content performance, engagement, and business outcomes.
- Engage and support publishers at scale through effective community management and streamlined communication channels.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Expertise in the publisher industry across news / lifestyle and in social trends.
- A balanced collaborator and self‑starter: comfortable leading projects end‑to‑end while thriving within cross‑functional environments.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.
- At least 5 years of experience in the broader media landscape, with a strong record of success in project management, social media, and/or partnership/relationship management.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage confidently and effectively with partners and cross‑functional teams around the world.
- High adaptability and agility in a fast‑paced, constantly evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of how digital publishers and social platforms collaborate to grow audiences and build sustainable models.
- Experience working on educational programmes and events.
- Demonstrated success in partner relationship management.
- Experience in operational support, strategic planning, and aligning local programs with broader company objectives to drive growth and product adoption.
- Thrives in fast‑moving settings; flexible, solutions‑oriented, and able to navigate shifting priorities while managing both operational and strategic responsibilities.
- Experience working with/for a lifestyle or news publisher on their social accounts.
