Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 base + double OTE

Who are we?

Since cannabis was legalised for medical use in the UK back in 2018, Cantourage UK has been as the forefront of building an ecosystem to service patients and businesses across this rapidly-growing space. In doing so, we have secured a variety of pharmaceutical licenses for import/wholesale/export activities (regulated by the Home Office and MHRA) as well as a tele-health clinic license (regulated by the CQC).

Zooming out, we are part of the Cantourage Group SE (a publicly listed European medical cannabis operator with infrastructure spanning Germany, the UK and multiple EU markets) with dreams to become the leading pan-European operator in the medical cannabis industry.

If our clinic is the heart, our pharmaceutical operations is the brain. It powers the entire engine and makes the medical cannabis industry a reality.

What’s the purpose of the role?

This role exists to bring in new business.

You’ll be responsible for identifying, opening and growing new partnerships, particularly with pharmacies, clinics and healthcare providers, and turning cold prospects into long-term commercial relationships.

This is not an account maintenance role. This is a new business, pipeline-building, relationship-owning role for someone who enjoys the chase, values autonomy and wants their effort to directly translate into results, commission and progression.

What impact will you have?

Build and Own a New Business Pipeline

  • Proactively source, approach and convert new partners through cold outreach
  • Open new pharmacy and healthcare accounts and take ownership of the full journey; from first conversation to live partnership
  • Build a healthy, repeatable pipeline that doesn’t rely on inbound leads

Turn Conversations into Long-Term Partnerships

  • Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers in clinics and pharmacies
  • Understand partner needs and position Cantourage as the obvious long-term choice
  • Grow accounts over time, not just close and move on

Be a Visible Driver of Revenue Growth

  • Directly contribute to onboarding new clients and expanding market presence
  • Track progress, momentum and conversion clearly, and own your number
  • Become known internally as someone who makes things happen

  • Prove you can win consistently in a growing market
  • Lay the foundations to progress into a senior role, with the opportunity to build and lead your own business development team as we scale

What will you bring to the table?

  • Essential: Background in selling physical products into retail or wholesale environments (e.g. challenger FMCG, fresh produce, health & wellness, supplements or similar), where success depended on winning shelf space, opening new accounts and building relationships from scratch
  • Proven experience in cold outreach and opening new business
  • Confidence starting conversations with people who don’t know you or the company
  • Strong relationship-building skills. You enjoy turning prospects into long-term partners
  • A commercially driven mindset. You like targets, momentum and growth
  • Resilience, persistence and self-motivation. Your success depends on your effort
