Warehouse Operative / Trade Counter Assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative / Trade Counter Assistant to join our client based in Manchester. This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse duties with front-of-house trade counter support.

Benefits:

• Salary: 25 -30,000 doe
• Location: Salford, Manchester
• Annual leave allowance: 22 + 8 bank holidays
• Free parking
• Immediate start available
• Full time – permanent role

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading deliveries (including use of stacker truck)
• Managing goods in and checking deliveries
• Stock control and stock replenishment
• Picking and packing customer orders
• Processing sales orders
• Serving trade counter customers
• Answering telephone enquiries when required
• General warehouse housekeeping and organisation

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous warehouse experience desirable
• Experience operating a stacker truck (or similar equipment) preferred
• Good computer skills – goods in, stock control, sales order processing
• Confident communicating with customers both face-to-face and over the phone
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
