MACHINE SHOP LABOURER
Industrial Engineering Environment
Adept Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of a major, high precision engineering manufacturer supplying critical components into demanding global industries.
We’re looking for a Machine Shop Labourer who understands heavy industry, takes pride in doing things right, and isn’t afraid of graft.
THE ROLE
You’ll be working inside a busy machine shop, supporting skilled machinists and keeping production moving.
Your day will include:
Filing and grinding large metal components to required standards
Fettling and finishing precision parts
Moving materials and components safely using FLTs and Side Loaders
Supporting the wider team to maintain flow and quality on the shop floor
Keeping your area clean, safe and production-ready
SHIFT PATTERN
Continental shift pattern (rotating days and nights). This offers structured time off across the year but requires commitment and reliability.
13.54 per hour/ Overtime available
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience in a machine shop or heavy engineering environment
Confident with manual filing and grinding
Experience operating Fork Lift Trucks and ideally Side Loaders
Strong awareness of health and safety
A reliable, team-focused attitude
This role suits someone who takes pride in solid, honest work and wants to be part of a serious engineering operation.
