Questech Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer at a busy food manufacturing facility in Bristol.

The RoleYou will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical systems and equipment to ensure maximum uptime and compliance within a fast-paced food production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and breakdown repair on production machinery
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
Working on conveyors, packaging lines, motors, drives, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment
Ensuring all work complies with health & safety and food industry standards
Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime
Requirements
Time-served Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification
Strong electrical maintenance experience within food, FMCG, or manufacturing environments
Ability to fault find under pressure in a fast-moving production setting
Knowledge of PLCs (fault finding level preferred)
Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently on contract assignments
