Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Support clients with medication reminders and administration (where trained and competent)
Assist with mobility and movement, using appropriate manual handling techniques
Help with meal preparation and nutritional support
Maintain a clean and safe environment within the client's home
Provide companionship and emotional support
Monitor and report changes in client health or wellbeing to the care manager
Maintain accurate and timely care records and documentation
Respect client privacy, dignity, and cultural preferences at all times
Promote client independence and involvement in care planning
Essential Requirements
Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
References from previous employers
Proven experience in domiciliary or home care settings
Good communication skills and ability to work independently
Compassion, patience, and genuine interest in supporting vulnerable people
Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance record
Own transport and valid driving license (desirable)
