Port Plant Operative – Immingham Dock

Training & Upskilling Provided

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a busy port environment with opportunities to train, grow, and upskill?

We’re recruiting Port Plant Operatives to join our team based at Immingham Dock, working across a range of port plant and equipment.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Port Plant Operative, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily port operations. Duties include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Operating tug vehicles for trailer and unit movement
  • Driving RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) equipment
  • Operating FLT (Forklift Trucks)
  • Operating Reachstackers for container handling
  • Supporting loading/unloading, vehicle movements and general port activities
  • Ensuring safe working practices across all tasks

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a port or industrial environment is beneficial, but not essential
  • Experience operating any of the following is an advantage: tug, RoRo, tipper, Forklift, reachstacker
  • Strong awareness of health & safety
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts depending on operational needs

No formal plant qualifications? No problem.
