Junior QA Engineer

Position 1 Recruitment is seeking aJunior QA Engineerto join a engineering manufacturing company specialising incontrol systems and heating systems.

The Junior QA Engineer will support theQHSE functionby ensuring products, processes, and suppliers comply withquality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. The role involves close collaboration withengineering, production, procurement, and suppliersto drivecontinuous improvementacross quality performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on Supplier Corrective Action Reportsto ensure timely responses and actions, improving supply chain performance
• Identify, document, and resolve Nonconformities and customer complaints, supporting Root Cause Analysis
• Assist the QA Manager withASME BPVC Section II compliance checksfor received goods
• Participate ininternal auditsand weekly QHSE tours
• Provideadministrative supportto the QHSE department, including updating procedures and instructions
• Prepare key projectQHSE documentssuch as ITPs, Quality Plans, and Ex component certification dossiers
• Help maintain theequipment calibration systemwith QA & QC Managers

You will need

• Knowledge/experience of inspection of electrical or mechanical productswithinOil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Pharmaceutical environments
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Understanding/knowledge ofISO 9001, ATEX/IECEx, ASME & PED standards
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to follow procedures
