Quality Engineer | Christchurch | £45,000 Are you a methodical problem-solver with a passion for precision? Looking to embed quality into every stage of production? Join a well-established precision engineering business where your expertise will directly impact product excellence and customer satisfaction.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Engineer to work with cutting-edge manufacturing processes, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support compliance with industry-leading standards like AS9100, ISO 14001, and NADCAP.As a Quality Engineer, you will benefit from:

  • 39-hour working week with half-day Fridays

As a Quality Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (AS9100 / ISO 14001 / NADCAP)
  • Assisting with internal, supplier, and customer audits
  • Investigating non-conformances and supporting root cause analysis
  • Creating customer documentation packs and FAIR reports to AS9102 standards
  • Supporting supplier quality assurance and performance monitoring
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects across production and operations

As a Quality Engineer, your experience will include:

  • Proven background in precision engineering or manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of ISO 
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
