Are you a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs?

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive SEN school in Knowsley, Liverpool. This is a full-time role that offers a unique opportunity to work with students who require a tailored and nurturing approach to learning.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated Art lessons to students aged 11-16 (or as appropriate)
• Adapt teaching methods to meet a range of learning styles and SEN requirements
• Work collaboratively with the wider teaching and support staff team
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
• Track student progress and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Art at secondary level
• A strong understanding of SEN and a passion for inclusive education
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude
