A High-Impact IT Leadership Role in a Commercial, Fast-Paced Retail & Manufacturing Business

Krispy Kreme UK & Ireland is seeking a commercially sharp, hands‑on IT Director to lead technology across retail, manufacturing, supply chain, e-commerce and corporate systems.

This is a visible and influential leadership role within a well-loved consumer brand – ideal for someone who thrives in lean environments and enjoys real ownership, accountability and commercial exposure.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will:

  • Lead the UK&I technology agenda
  • Stabilise and strengthen a mixed legacy landscape
  • Own SOX ITGC compliance end‑to‑end
  • Drive disciplined, ROI‑focused investment decisions
  • Lead a hybrid model of in‑house capability and outsourced partners

This role suits someone comfortable operating in environments where:

  • Investment is carefully prioritised
  • Legacy systems need practical improvement
  • Controls and governance matter
  • IT must deliver commercial value, not just technical change

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a pragmatic technology roadmap focused on strengthening foundations
  • Improve reliability and performance across retail, production and online platforms
  • Strengthen integrations and data quality
  • Own and enhance SOX ITGC controls
  • Reduce key‑person dependency and knowledge risk
  • Lead and develop a small specialist team
  • Manage outsourced partners and drive accountability
  • Support digital and e‑commerce initiatives (Magento platform)

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven IT leadership in lean, commercially driven environments
  • Retail and/or manufacturing exposure preferred
  • Strong vendor and outsourced partner management
  • Commercial mindset with disciplined investment thinking
  • Hands‑on, pragmatic leadership style

This may particularly suit someone who has operated in a smaller, less structured business and is looking to step into a recognised brand with broader exposure and influence.
