Site Manager – Social Housing Planned Works (Permanent Role)
Location: South London & Kent
We are working with a Tier 1 contractor who are looking to grow their delivery team due to a very busy 2026 pipeline, with multiple social housing projects now being cleared through Gateway 2. As a result, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager on a permanent basis to deliver planned works across South London and Kent.
The role will involve managing a range of internal and external refurbishment projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, and cladding works, within occupied social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of site operations on social housing planned works projects
- Overseeing internal works (kitchens and bathrooms) and external works (roofing, cladding, associated repairs)
- Managing subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to required quality standards
- Maintaining strong health & safety compliance across sites
- Liaising professionally with residents, site teams, and project stakeholders
- Completing site documentation, progress reports, and quality checks
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager within social housing planned works
- Proven experience managing both internal and external refurbishment projects
- SMSTS
- CSCS (Site Management level)
- First Aid at Work
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience working in occupied properties
