DevSecOps Engineer

Position Summary

At CGI, we are transforming how organisations deliver secure, scalable digital services, and our DevSecOps Engineers are at the heart of that change. In this role you will design and operate resilient cloud platforms that power critical systems, embedding security and automation into every stage of the lifecycle. We combine deep engineering expertise with a culture of collaboration and accountability, enabling you to shape DevOps and SRE best practice while driving measurable impact for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Secure Cloud Platforms across hyperscalers
• Develop & Optimise CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Automate & Provision Infrastructure using IaC tooling
• Implement & Enhance containerisation and virtual environments
• Embed & Advance observability (monitoring, logging, alerting)
• Lead & Champion DevSecOps and SRE best practice
• Mentor & Support engineers

Qualifications

To succeed, you will bring hands‑on experience in DevSecOps or SRE roles within modern cloud environments, alongside strong scripting and automation expertise. You will be comfortable working across infrastructure, platforms and pipelines, with a proactive approach to security, reliability and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications

• You should have hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud)
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proven ability to build and maintain automated deployment pipelines
• Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting solutions
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go or similar
• Demonstrable experience embedding security within DevOps practices
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively and mentor others
