Data/BI Analyst (Intern)

We are seeking a highly motivated and inquisitive Data Engineering Intern to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of a new data warehouse on the AWS cloud platform. You will play a crucial role in building and optimizing data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience with real‑world data engineering challenges and contribute to the growth of a dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Provide training and support to end‑users on Power BI tools.
• Monitor and enhance reporting processes for continuous improvement.
• Monitor dashboard performance and troubleshoot data or reporting issues proactively.
• Document data flows, transformation logic, and dashboard configurations for version control and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in the design and development of the data warehouse architecture on AWS.
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources (NetSuite, Salesforce, SharePoint, other SaaS & internal systems) into the data warehouse.
• Assist in the development of data quality checks and monitoring processes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles.
• 1 year of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Knowledge in Python, AWS Glue and Step function.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
