Maintenance Engineer

Wills Consultants are seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a prestigious automated distribution centre.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on automation equipment
• Conduct corrective maintenance and troubleshooting
• Engage with customers daily

This role follows a shift pattern (Monday to Friday - Days, Afternoons, and Nights).

Requirements

• Apprenticeship training or recognised engineering qualification (C&G, ONC, HNC, BTEC, or equivalent)
• Experience with automated materials handling equipment
• PLC knowledge (not essential but advantageous)
• A results‑driven approach with a customer focus
• Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities

This role would be suitable for a Multiskilled Engineer, Multiskilled Technician, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Technician, Electro‑Mechanical Engineer, Electro‑Mechanical Technician.
