Company Description
My client is a large construction company with operations across different countries. The Internal Controls department has recently been centralised to Paris; this has created a vacancy for a Regional Internal Control Manager with responsibilities across Western and Eastern Europe to join the team.
Job Description
Your role would include:
- General improvement of financial and operational controls within your region
- Working with functional heads to successfully strengthen operational processes
- Operational processes will range from HR and procurement to project management and the supply chain on site
- Work closely with the IS team to ensure all processes are compliant with regulations
- Build strong relationship with contacts within the business in your given geographical area; understanding teams, systems, processes
- Following up internal audit and internal control issues
- Travel of up to 50% across Europe
Qualifications
The skills required:
- 5-10 years of experience within External Audit/Internal Audit/Controlling
- Strong financial knowledge/background
- Experience using SAP
- Experience working within a large multinational (ideally within the commercial and industrial sector)
- Fluent English and French (plus German, or an Eastern European language)

The successful candidate will join a well run Internal Controls team, and in 2/3 years have the opportunity to rotate into the different finance or operations areas within the business. The role is accompanied by a generous salary.
