Project Engineer – Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer ready to step into an office-based Project role? Our client, a well-established air conditioning and refrigeration contractor, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their growing London team.

The Role
As a Project Engineer, you’ll oversee multiple projects from enquiry to completion, including:
- Client liaison and site surveys
- System design and quotation preparation
- Tendering for new work
- Coordinating materials, labour, and suppliers
- Attending site meetings

Key Responsibilities
- Design and sales of air conditioning and ventilation systems
- Project management of new installation works
- Liaison with clients, suppliers, and engineers
- Purchasing and organising materials and labour
- Conducting site surveys and attending meetings
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in air conditioning
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in London or surrounding areas
