RCSA Framework Implementation Consultant – Harrogate – Hybrid

BDO Regulatory Solutions are currently recruiting for a RCSA Framework Implementation Consultant to join our client, based in Harrogate.

We are offering an initial 4 – 6 week contract starting ASAP with an excellent day rate, employed via an Umbrella company.

About the role:

To design, develop and support the implementation of a robust and proportionate RCSA Framework. The consultant will work collaboratively with First and Second Line to establish a sustainable, repeatable, and embedded RCSA tool that helps strengthen LINK’s control assurance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessment of the current control library environment.
• Design templates / tooling, scoring, and reporting outputs – Self-Certification regime.
• Second Line testing and reporting outputs.
• Update current Framework to reflect new approach.
• Preparation of supporting materials for training new way of working.
• Coaching and supporting risk and control owners through the self-assessment process.
• Develop a structured implementation roadmap and transition to BAU plan.
• Support internal audit engagement and preparation of Internal Audit documents where required.

About you:

• Expert knowledge of RCSA methodologies and operational risk frameworks.
• Expert-level Microsoft 365 capability.
• Strong understanding of governance and control environments.
• Ability to design pragmatic, scalable frameworks.
• Skilled facilitator with strong stakeholder engagement capability.
• Ability to interpret and operationalise regulatory expectations.
• Clear, concise reporting capabilities.
• Demonstrable experience in implementing or significantly enhancing RCSA framework.
• Experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience working across 1st and 2nd Line functions.
• Experience embedding risk frameworks into BAU operations.
• Experience developing risk reporting and management information.
