Role Description
PLUK GROUP is seeking a Business Development Manager for a full-time hybrid role based in the Greater Bournemouth Area, with the flexibility for some remote work. In this role, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and ensure key account management. Responsibilities include market research, developing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and presenting reports on business performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customized logistics solutions while supporting the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Sales, Business Development, and Account Management
- Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation skills
- Knowledge of Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and Freight Forwarding
- Proven ability to conduct Market Research and Strategic Planning
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong Organizational and Time Management abilities
- A self‑motivated and goal‑oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Previous experience in the logistics or transport industry is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in a second European language is a plus
