Position Summary:Working as a mechanical fitter in the overhaul of key rolling stock components including Bogies and Wheelsets.
Duties can include:Working in teams to diagnose, fault find and repair Bogies and Wheelsets inside an Overhaul programUsing appropriate tools to Strip /Re-build mechanical assemblies.Inspection of mechanical elements required for repairRoutine PPM, reactive and minor repair
Person Profile/Experience:Apprentice Trained (Level 3 in relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline)Experience within Rolling Stock / Rail Industry
Qualifications:Level 3 in Engineering / Maintenance / Mechanical Field
