Night Shift Sliding Head Setter

Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing company who are seeking a talented Sliding Head Setter to join their dynamic team. Preferred Requirements:

• Proven experience as a sliding head setter, with a strong understanding of Star sliding head and sliding head machines with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to set up, operate, and maintain sliding head machines, including offset and tooling changes to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes as the industry evolves.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical diploma or certification in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline.
• Previous experience working in a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Minimum 12 months experience.
