Job Description
We are looking for two practical operatives to join our team, manufacturing large precast concrete panels for major UK construction projects. This is a hands-on role working in a small specialist team producing high quality structural precast components.
Typical Duties
· Preparation and setting of steel moulds.
· Installing reinforcement (rebar).
· Positioning cast-in items and lifting sockets.
· Quality checks before casting.
· Placing ready-mix concrete delivered by wagon.
· Trowelling and finishing exposed surfaces.
· Stripping moulds and preparing panels for lifting and storage.
Requirements
· Practical construction or concrete experience preferred.
· Good attention to detail.
· Physically fit and comfortable wring with heavy materials.
· Reliable and able to work as part of a small team.
Desirable
· Telehandler licence (a requirement for one of the two roles).
· Experience in precast concrete, formwork or steel fixing.
