Market Analyst
London, Hybrid ( days with flexibility)
Salary: up to £55,000 + 10% Bonus
The company:
Our client is the world’s leading media and intelligence brand within the digital infrastructure space, they offer a wide range of products including news, events, training and research and have recently launched a premium market intelligence platform.
The role:
This is not a traditional data role. The Market Analyst will join a small, high-performing team producing high-quality market research, forecasts and analysis to inform strategic decision-making for senior professionals across the industry. Writing is a core part of the job and you will be expected to produce polished, insightful written analysis and conduct interviews with senior industry stakeholders as part of your primary research.
- Write qualitative market analysis covering key industry developments
- Develop data visualisations and forecasts for publication on the intelligence platform
- Conduct primary research through interviews with senior industry stakeholders
- Collaborate with the in-house data team to build market trend projections and develop the intelligence platform
- Present findings to customers through quarterly analyst insight calls and presentations
- Support the creation of consultancy content including surveys, whitepapers and eBooks
- Represent the brand at industry events and peer review analyst-produced content
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of the data center market is essential
- 2-3 years’ experience in market analysis, business intelligence or research, ideally within a research organisation, B2B media publication or intelligence platform
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to build forecasts and market projections
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven portfolio of published work
- Confident presenting to and engaging with senior client stakeholders
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to research
