As a recognized leader in engaging customers through innovative digital experiences, both online and in-store, the company is seeking a talented Solution Architect to research, design, and lead the introduction of new customer-focused technologies.
The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in delivering the company’s customer strategy by designing and implementing scalable, customer-centric solutions that align with the company’s business objectives. By bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, this role will ensure that all systems and applications are seamlessly integrated to enhance customer experiences, drive operational efficiency, and support long-term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities of the Solution Architect:
- Develop an evolving Solution Architecture for the company’s Customer and Data Tower Initiatives.
- Engage and influence key stakeholders to ensure solutions address both functional and non-functional business needs.
- Design technical solutions that span multiple work streams, while identifying downstream application dependencies.
- Oversee the technical acceptance of agile user stories and ensure the integrity of proposed solutions across work streams and associated application architects.
- Identify and exploit the re-use of components, patterns, and techniques, and document them for re-use by other projects.
- Establish and direct proof of concepts for innovative technologies and make recommendations on technology adoption.
- Work with the Security and Information Risk functions to ensure solutions meet the company’s security standards and principles.
The ideal candidate for the Solution Architect role will have:
- Proven experience in delivering change in a multi-vendor environment, supported by an agile delivery framework.
- Technology experience within Salesforce CRM specifically Salesforce Service Cloud
- Recognized expertise in digital consumer and marketing technologies, with the ability to propose relevant knowledge of architectural patterns, technology components, and vendor products, preferably within the luxury or related retail industry.
- Experience within an architecture team where you have developed solutions aligned with an overarching strategy.
- A deep understanding of how to derive complex digital solutions for a truly global business, where the customer experience is seamless across multiple channels, including retail store interactions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including senior business leaders, product owners, project managers, and business analysts.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate risks and challenges that could impact delivery.
