Job Purpose
The Head of Finance, Analysis & Reporting is accountable for the integrity, coherence and effectiveness of all finance outputs across the organisation, including financial reporting, management information and financial planning.
The role ensures that financial information is accurate, timely, well-governed and clearly translated into insight to support decision-making across residential homes, community care and specialist services.
Key Accountabilities
Single-point accountability for:
- End-to-end finance outputs and standards
- Financial governance, controls and consistency
- Alignment between financial accounting, management accounting and FP&A
- Executive and Board-level financial narrative
Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and coordinate the Group Financial Accountant, Group Management Accountant and Head of FP&A.
- Set clear priorities, expectations and ways of working across finance.
- Own the finance calendar, outputs and sign-off points.
Reporting & Assurance
- Final sign-off of management accounts, forecasts, budgets and Board reports.
- Provide assurance over financial integrity and performance insight.
- Act as senior finance interface with the CFO, Executive Team and Board.
This role does not
- Prepare detailed accounts, models or reports.
- Provide day-to-day business partnering to services.

- Chief Financial Officer
The role will be Head of Department level and join the HoDs meeting.
