The Role
This role sits within the Group Finance function and will take responsibility for overseeing financial reporting across a multi-entity environment, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant financial information to support the business. Working closely with finance teams across the organisation, you’ll help drive consistency in reporting, strengthen financial controls and continue to evolve processes as the business grows. Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the preparation and consolidation of financial reporting across the Group and multiple legal entities.
- Deliver accurate and timely internal and external financial reports, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards.
- Prepare and oversee lender covenant reporting, ensuring obligations are met while maintaining strong relationships with financing partners.
- Manage the year-end and statutory reporting cycle, including the production of consolidated financial statements under IFRS, FRS101, FRS102 and Local GAAP.
- Provide technical accounting support on complex issues such as acquisitions, disposals, and the implementation of new accounting standards.
- Develop and maintain Group accounting policies and reporting frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Review and interpret financial and operational data to ensure accuracy, consistency and useful insight for decision-making.
- Assist with the integration of newly acquired entities into the Group’s financial reporting processes and systems.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting processes, systems and internal controls.
- Partner with finance teams across the business to ensure consistent reporting practices and effective resolution of technical queries.
- Contribute to ad-hoc reporting requirements and strategic finance projects alongside the Financial Controller, Finance Director and CFO.
- Strong experience in Group consolidations and multi-entity reporting
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Experience in multi-site or multi-entity environments
