Agriculture & Landed Estates (5+ PQE)
Are you a Private Client Solicitor with a passion for tax planning, trusts, and succession? This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Agriculture & Landed Estates team, working with farming families, landed estates, and high-net-worth individuals on complex and rewarding matters.
This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced Partners while managing your own caseload, advising clients on wealth protection and long-term planning.
The Role
- Advising on Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning
- Creating tax-efficient solutions for succession and asset protection
- Structuring family partnerships and trusts
- Drafting bespoke trust documents and settlements
- Supporting estate administration for complex, high-value estates
- Working independently and alongside a Partner on established client relationships
About You
- 5+ years' PQE with strong expertise in private client tax planning
- In-depth knowledge of IHT, CGT, and trust structures, particularly in the context of landed estates, farming enterprises, and family businesses
- Confidence in drafting tailored legal documents and trust instruments
- A genuine enthusiasm for tax efficiency, succession planning, and asset protection
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload under pressure
