Senior / Lead Mobile Engineer (React Native)

London (Hybrid) | Permanent | Up to £100,000 + Equity

We’re partnering with a venture-backed HealthTech startup building a connected mobile platform for patients managing cardiometabolic conditions.

This is a high-impact role owning a React Native application that integrates wearable devices, real-time health data, and AI-driven insights into a seamless patient experience.

The Role

You’ll:

• Build and scale a production React Native app across iOS & Android
• Integrate with Apple HealthKit, Google Health Connect, and connected devices (scales, BP monitors, CGMs, activity trackers)
• Work closely with ML engineers to integrate internal AI APIs
• Shape mobile architecture, standards, and best practices

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years building production mobile applications
• Strong React Native experience (or strong native iOS/Android background)
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling real-time data
• Comfortable working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Ownership mindset with experience driving projects independently

Nice to have: HealthTech, wearable integrations, AI/ML API integration, regulated data environments.
