Role
We’re looking for a software / embedded engineer to help build and scale the infrastructure behind our ultra-low-latency speech systems.
This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and on-device deployment. You’ll work on the APIs and backend systems that power our platform, while also helping deploy and optimise our machine learning models on resource-constrained devices.
You’ll contribute to:
- Building and scaling our API and cloud infrastructure
- Designing developer-friendly APIs for ultra-low-latency speech systems
- Deploying and optimising neural models on embedded and edge devices
- Improving the performance and reliability of our real-time audio systems
- Shipping features end-to-end across backend infrastructure and device runtimes
You’ll be working with a top-tier team who will mentor and support you as you grow, while collaborating closely with researchers and engineers across the company.
You have
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Prior industry experience as a software engineer (this is not a graduate-level role)
- Experience with C++ and edge device deployment
- Experience building or working with APIs and backend systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (ideally GCP)
- Interest in high-performance systems, audio, or ML deployment
- A Bachelor’s degree or above from a top university (or equivalent experience)
