Job Description:

Full-time (40 hours) | Remote | Core hours Monday–Friday 08:30–17:30

Hatmill is a fully remote, high-performing consultancy ranked #1 Great Place to Work 2025 (Medium Size Company). We are an Employee-Owned Trust and a certified B Corp.

We’re looking for a competent, reliable Business Support Specialist to join our Business Support Team.

This is a broad, generalist administrative role supporting events, training, finance, IT, marketing and compliance.

A note on how we work

Hatmill is self-managing and non-hierarchical.

We don’t operate with traditional management layers or internal job titles. People are trusted to take ownership of their responsibilities and contribute beyond rigid role boundaries.

That works exceptionally well for people who:

  • Take initiative naturally
  • Feel comfortable working without close supervision
  • Communicate directly and professionally
  • Follow up when something needs attention
  • See strong administration as commercially important
  • Take pride in getting the fundamentals right

It can feel less comfortable if you prefer:

  • Detailed day-to-day direction
  • Clearly defined role limits
  • Frequent validation before taking action

There’s no right or wrong approach, but our environment suits people who are motivated by ownership, autonomy and contribution rather than status or titles.
