Electrical Maintenance EngineerOverviewThis role involves electrical maintenance within a semiconductor manufacturing clean-room facility, supporting site infrastructure and facilities rather than IT systems. You will help maintain and repair equipment used in the production environment, including chemical and extraction systems, ensuring the site operates safely and reliably. The role operates on a four-shift pattern to provide continuous site support.
TheElectrical Maintenance Engineer role will involve:
- Working with and maintaining site systems, including the sewer plant, facilities infrastructure, air handling units, chillers, refrigeration equipment, PLCs, inverters, and chemical/acid extraction systems
- Finding and fixing faults on machines and control systems
- Responding quickly to breakdowns to keep production running
- Supporting equipment installation and upgrades
- Following health & safety rules at all times
TheElectrical Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalenthands-onengineering experience required
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working on afour-shift rotating pattern(days and nights)
- Committed to health & safety and quality standards
