Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Location: Rochford, Essex
Working Hours: 00:30 AM – 17:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team in Rochford. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a counterbalance forklift to move goods around our warehouse and production site.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse.
Ensuring the safe transportation of materials to and from designated storage areas.
Organizing and maintaining stock, ensuring items are stored safely and securely.
Performing regular checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure its safety and efficiency.
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
Following all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensuring that stock levels are accurately recorded and reported.
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
Previous forklift driving experience in a warehouse or similar setting.
Good knowledge of health and safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A proactive attitude with a focus on safety and efficiency.
