About the role

As CRM Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing strategic relationships across UCL to support student recruitment communications delivered via the University’s CRM system.

Acting as the primary point of contact between Faculties and the CRM team, you will ensure recruitment communications are strategically planned, expertly delivered and aligned to institutional priorities. You will lead the end-to-end planning cycle, including the development and rollout of an annual multi-touchpoint CRM planner, helping stakeholders navigate processes, timelines and best practice.

You will build strong, trusted partnerships with Faculty Marketing Leads and key stakeholders, providing a high-quality relationship management service that inspires confidence and supports progression through the student recruitment funnel. Working closely with the CRM Marketing Communications Manager and colleagues across Marketing, Student Recruitment and Events, you will help deliver timely, relevant and consistent communications that enhance the prospective student experience.

This role also involves supporting analysis and reporting on CRM-led activity, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and workflow automation, and ensuring all activity adheres to university policies and regulatory frameworks.

As an active member of VPEE, you will support key institutional moments, including a minimum of four graduation ceremonies and two Open Days each year.

Please note, this is a 12-month fixed-term role and is available to start from beginning of May . The role also offers hybrid-working and will be based onsite at our London Kings Cross office 1-2 days per week.

About you

You will be educated to degree level (or hold equivalent experience) and bring a strong understanding of CRM systems and how they support customer journeys, communications and data-driven decision-making. You will have experience managing client or stakeholder relationships within a complex organisation, ideally within higher education or a student recruitment context.

Confident and collaborative, you will excel at building trust with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior colleagues. You will combine excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with strong organisational ability, enabling you to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of delivery.

You will be analytical and solutions-focused, using data and insight to evaluate performance, inform decisions and drive continuous improvement. Proactive and responsive, you will anticipate stakeholder needs and work at pace to deliver results aligned to institutional priorities.
