Class 2 Tipper Driver

Location: ThornliebankHours: Monday–Friday | Start 06:00 | Finish approx. 16:30 – 17:30Start Date: ImmediateWe are recruiting on behalf of a Civil Engineering contractor working on major infrastructure and construction projects across Scotland. Due to ongoing contract wins and growth, we’re looking for an experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to join their expanding team based from Thornliebank. This is a temporary postion that could lead to long term on-going work for the right candidate.The Role:As a Class 2 Tipper Driver you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials to and from site, including aggregates, muck, spoil, and other construction-related loads. You’ll play a key role in keeping projects running on time and to specification.Key Responsibilities: Operate Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and professionallyTransport materials between sites, quarries, and landfillsConduct daily vehicle checks and report defectsComply with all health & safety procedures and transport regulationsMaintain accurate documentation and driver logs What We’re Looking For: Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licenceMinimum 1 – 2 years tipper driving experienceDriver CPC and digital tachograph cardGood timekeeping and professional attitudeStrong knowledge of Scottish road networks Hours & Working Pattern: Monday to FridayStart at 06:00Typical finish between 16:30 – 17:30 Pay:Competitive hourly rates ranging around £14.50 – £15.00 per hour depending on experience and duties.
