Some are about building a channel and developing people while you do it. We’re working with a well-established food manufacturer with a strong heritage and a growing presence across licensed, foodservice and wholesale channels. As part of their continued expansion, they’re investing in their Route to Market (RTM) sales team and are looking for a Senior Business Executive to play a key role in driving growth. This position sits at the heart of the RTM team, combining commercial leadership, account ownership and team development. The Role This is a highly commercial role where you will: Manage a portfolio of key wholesale Route to Market customers Drive new business growth across foodservice and licensed channels Support and mentor Business Executives within the RTM team Deliver joint business plans and commercial growth strategies Lead promotional planning and support trade marketing initiatives Work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, supply chain and product development teams The role combines around 60% new business development and 40% team coaching and leadership, giving you the opportunity to both drive revenue and develop the next generation of commercial talent. What We’re Looking For You may currently be working as: A Senior Business Development Executive A Senior Account Executive A Route to Market or Wholesale Sales Manager A Field Sales Manager within FMCG or foodservice To succeed in this role you will bring: Proven FMCG commercial experience Strong selling and negotiation capability Experience developing new and existing customer relationships Commercial awareness including P&L understanding and forecasting The ability to coach and develop more junior team members A proactive mindset and strong drive for growth You’ll be someone who enjoys winning new business while building long-term partnerships with customers and distributors.
