We are The Salad Project, a fast‑growing healthy food chain in London, founded in 2021. We have twelve stores and are disrupting the quick‑service restaurant scene with bold, fresh salads.

£35,000 per year

Role Overview

Lead a team of 30‑40 staff in a high‑volume environment, overseeing all aspects of daily operation, service quality, hygiene, staffing, P&L, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 30‑40 staff, delegating tasks to supervisors to maintain standards during all opening hours.
• Help manage team morale and guide career development.
• Implement and improve service processes while seeking ways to enhance operations.
• Maintain 5* hygiene rating by monitoring and enforcing best practices.
• Ensure and enforce the use of current systems to operate The Salad Project.
• Assist in hiring and developing staff to meet store and business needs.
• Maintain control over the P&L of the restaurant.
• Report any issues or wins to the management team and celebrate staff achievements.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the store.
• Deliver excellent customer service, operational service, and great tasting healthy food.

• Strong proficiency in organising a large team.
• Ability to lead from the front while monitoring issues throughout the day.
• Ability to steady the ship and prevent issues before they happen.
• Communication skills, knowing when to use a firm hand or a softer approach.
• Positive energy and dedication to the team.
• Strong ability to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing a team in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Commitment to full‑time employment.
• Desire to build a career in hospitality.

Compensation & Benefits

• £35,000–£37,500 per year.
