This FTSE100 business covers a range of sectors, but this particular role sits within the Insurance/ retail arm of the business, responsible for risks across the B2B and B2C areas.
Due to transformation in the business, this role is newly created, combining areas of the business, for better practice and coverage.
The Director of Internal Audit role will hold the SMF5, and will report to the CAE.
The role sees you managing a team, leading the new vision for the function, reporting to Audit Committee, and managing key stakeholders across this FCA regulated arm.
The role will be based in Reading, with occasional visits to London and other UK offices.
Office presence is at 3 days a week.
The ideal candidate:
- Ambition to be SMF5 – perhaps deputising currently.
- Internal audit experience in an insurance business
- Team management
