We are looking for an energetic, passionate Delivery Manager to join our team.
As our Delivery Manager, you’ll bring your passion for delivery of projects and the agile framework to work with you, day in, day out. You’ll be an expert at what you do and know exactly how to use your skills to oversee and ensure timely and effective delivery of projects and services. This role requires a blend of data analysis skills, project management expertise, and effective communication abilities.
With elements of product ownership, you will support the product backlog and prioritisation of projects through close collaboration with key stakeholders and the Product Owner.
You will also facilitate the timely development of products throughout their lifecycle by keeping close and regular collaboration with team members and management.
You will help with highlighting and clearing any impediments that may slow down your team’s progress on a project and set closely manage the expectations and work schedules on which products will be delivered.
- Oversee the delivery of projects, coordinating with multiple third-party and partners to ensure seamless integration and execution.
- Employ a hybrid project management approach, combining agile with other methodologies to suit the project’s needs.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among internal teams and external entities to drive project success and deliver value to the organization.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals, timelines, and deliverables across all involved parties, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Lead the risk management efforts, identifying potential issues early and devising mitigation strategies to maintain project integrity and timelines.
- Maintains continuous and close collaboration with key stakeholders and Product Owner to ensure alignment of priorities.
- Support the team through discovery, ideation, and execution phases, managing handover of requirements to the Business Analyst and supporting in gathering requirements/input into kick-off meetings.
- Manage backlog refinement and facilitate team rituals, including 3 Amigos, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support the continuous improvement of project delivery processes, incorporating lessons learned and best practices, evidencing key changes within the teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- 3+ Years of experience in managing delivery team using Agile and Scrum.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good understanding of user experience (UX).
- Strong Digital Change and Transformation experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects at once.
- Excellent at engaging stakeholders, senior staff across the business.
- Leads by example and understands how to motivate others to achieve shared and individual objectives.
- Strong presentation skills and comfortable in presenting key information to business leaders.
- Excellent communication between technical and non-technical, communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
And ideally, you’ll also:
- Scrum Master Certified or equivalent.
- Experience in financial services · Experience in product management.
- Understanding of success metrics, OKR’s and ROI’s.
