Solid Structures North West Ltd are looking for a Construction Supervisor to join their expanding team in the centre of St Helens.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours over 5 days, with a reasonable degree of flexibility as the working schedule requires.
Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee daily site operations to ensure works progress safely, efficiently, and to programme.
- Coordinate trades and subcontractors to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
- Maintain health and safety compliance through inspections, supervision, and adherence to regulations.
- Monitor quality standards, ensuring work meets drawings, specifications, and company expectations.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving on-site issues.
- Support planning and logistics, including scheduling, material deliveries, and labour management.
- Maintain site documentation, including progress reports, site records, and variation tracking.
What skills and qualities are we looking for?
- Proven experience in residential/domestic construction.
- Strong knowledge of building methods and trades.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

- Working knowledge of health and safety legislation.

- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Construction or related trade (desirable).
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification (preferred).
- First Aid at Work certification (preferred).
- Valid driving licence.
