Senior Research Engineer – Addlestone – £80k – DSP

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a rapidly expanding electronics manufacturer in Addlestone, Surrey, to fill the position of Senior Research Engineer. The role requires exposure to C++ or MATLAB for signal‑processing algorithm design, with a focus on ruggedised electronics and DSP algorithm design.

As a brand‑new R&D project, the role will be mostly on‑site and is open to senior engineers working across a range of products. Solid, hands‑on DSP algorithm experience is essential.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Maths, Physics or a related field
• 3+ years of commercial algorithm experience for DSPs
• Strong commercial C++ or MATLAB experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working as a sole contributor
• Current or ability to obtain SC clearance
