Primary Educator
Location: Wakefield, South Leeds Contract: Long-term (with potential for extension)
We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary schools across Wakefield and South Leeds who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Educator to join their team in a Key Stage 1 class on a long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher who enjoys nurturing young learners, creating engaging lessons, and making a real difference during the crucial early stages of a child’s education.
The Role
As a KS1 Primary Educator, you will:
- Deliver creative and inclusive lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
- Create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
- Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high-quality teaching
- Has a genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning
