Quality Engineer

NEW QUALITY ENGINEER JOB IN ANDOVER.

Our client based in Andover, Hampshire specialise in the design and manufacture of highly complex PCBA’s for a range of industries like automotive, industrial and medical.

We are searching for a Quality Engineer to join our clients dynamic team in Andover. This is a hands-on role supporting production, engineering and new product introduction (NPI) through technical leadership and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities as a Quality Engineerin Andover.

• Investigate repeat issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Maintain and develop our Quality Management Systems, including procedures, PFMEAs, and Quality Manufacturing Plans.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and spot-checks to ensure adherence to standards.
• Support customer communications regarding product quality and compliance.
• Identify risks during New Product Introduction, Sales Order Reviews, and Change Control.
• Experience in usinginvestigation tools such as 8D, CAPA, and 5-Whys.

Requirements as a Quality EngineerinAndover.

• 2+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
• A relevant degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is desirable but not essential
• Proven experience dealing with customer complaints, audits, and root cause analysis
• Experience with ISO 9001 and ideally AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949 environments.
