Job Description Empowering Learning is currently recruiting for a Nursery Nurse to work in a friendly and supportive nursery setting in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years practitioner who enjoys supporting young children’s development and learning in a nurturing environment.
You will play an important role in supporting children’s early development, helping to create engaging activities, maintaining a safe learning environment, and working closely with the nursery team to support the needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Assisting with planning and delivering engaging activities
Promoting a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children
Supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical development
Working collaboratively with nursery staff to maintain high standards of care
Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
Requirements
Childcare Diploma Level 2 or Level 3 (essential)
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
