HGV Class 1 Driver (Tramping) Synergyx Freight is a rapidly growing logistics company known for professionalism, reliable operations, and a driver-first approach. We are hiring experienced HGV Class 1 Tramping Drivers to join our expanding fleet.
40,000–£41,000 per year (including all expenses and allowances) Monthly PAYE pay Modern fleet (Mercedes or MAN trucks) Pension scheme (auto-enrolment) Ongoing training and development Free uniform and PPE where applicable Secure on-site parking for personal vehicles
Carry out long-haul driving across the UK, including overnight tramping Complete bay-to-bay deliveries only, with no manual handling (drop-and-go) Operate modern, well-maintained vehicles with confidence in navigation and journey planning Comply with all road safety rules, driving hours regulations, and company policies Use SNAP accounts and fuel cards to support efficient journeys Work consistent tramping schedules with five consecutive shifts (Sunday–Friday)
Valid UK C+E (Class 1) driving licence Minimum of 2 years’ HGV driving experience Fluency in English preferred Good knowledge of UK road laws, including the Highway Code and drivers’ hours regulations Successful completion of pre-employment checks, including drug and alcohol testing
Day and night shifts Five days per week, including some weekends Overnight tramping required
