Overview

Recruiting a Technical Solution Architect to support major transformation work across organisations digital health platform roadmap. The team needs a technology‑agnostic, Azure‑centred solution architect who can design, assure, and guide the build of new healthcare‑aligned digital products over the next 12-18 months.

Responsibilities

  • The role will work across Azure, Logic Apps, Power Apps/Power Pages, Mircosoft Dynamics, API integration, orchestration layers, SaaS/PaaS selections, and will play a key part in enabling shift towards a standard Microsoft platform.
  • This person will be responsible for end‑to‑end architectural oversight, ensuring guardrails, security, and governance are correctly enforced across development teams – with a strong emphasis on documentation, traceability, component reuse, and modular design.
  • Must understand how to design & build components, not just document them.
  • Needs exposure to integration, API design, orchestration, event patterns, SaaS/PaaS selection, etc.
  • Huge value in candidates who have worked with healthcare platforms, NHS integrations, patient record systems, or health data platforms.
  • Major priority: establishing traceability, governance and oversight
  • Needs someone adaptable who can architect with an evolving platform
  • Should understand modern approaches to modularisation, reuse, low-code/no-code, and componentisation
  • Role can be based anywhere but candidate would need to travel to London and East Midlands as and when required

Qualifications

  • Azure‑centred solution architecture with ability to design, assure, and guide build of digital products
  • Experience across Azure services (Logic Apps, Power Apps/Power Pages), Microsoft Dynamics, API integration, orchestration layers, SaaS/PaaS selections
  • Strong emphasis on documentation, traceability, governance and security across development teams
  • Experience with healthcare platforms, NHS integrations, patient record systems, or health data platforms is highly valued
  • Ability to design & build components, not just document them
  • Comfort with evolving platforms and modern modularisation, reuse, low-code/no-code, and componentisation approaches
  • Willingness to travel to London and East Midlands as required
