Leeds – Hybrid Working – Salary up to £70,000
We’re working with an established technology organisation looking to grow their engineering team with the addition of a Senior Software Engineer. You’ll join a collaborative product team building and improving mobile applications that support large-scale operational platforms used by businesses globally.
This is a hybrid role based in Leeds, offering a balance of office collaboration and remote working.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and improving mobile applications used across multiple business systems.
You’ll be working closely with Product, QA, and Backend teams to deliver reliable, scalable applications while maintaining strong engineering standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing and maintaining mobile applications
- Writing clean, maintainable and testable code
- Working with REST APIs and backend systems
- Participating in code reviews and technical discussions
- Supporting architectural improvements and best practices
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes
- Supporting and mentoring more junior developers where appropriate
- Commercial experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong experience with .NET MAUI
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON-based services
- Good understanding of mobile application architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps desirable)
- Experience working in Agile development teams
- Strong focus on code quality, performance and maintainability
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Prism (MVVM, navigation, dependency injection)
- Exposure to Azure services
- Experience working with logistics or operational systems
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Experience with mobile performance optimisation
