A newly created Commercial Director role reporting directly to the MD, leading the full Sales, Marketing, Digital, Customer Service and NPD functions (c.30 people). This is a key appointment as the business enters a major growth phase, including planned acquisitions and market expansion.
You’ll shape and deliver the commercial strategy, drive revenue and market share, and ensure the business is positioned for long‑term success. You’ll also play a central role in evaluating acquisition targets, leading due diligence, and integrating new businesses into the existing operation.
What you’ll lead
- Territory Sales, Internal Sales, Customer Service/Returns
- Marketing, Digital, Social, NPD
- Commercial budgeting, forecasting and ROI
- Acquisition evaluation, business cases and integration
- Market expansion, partnerships and new revenue opportunities
What we’re looking for
- A proven Commercial, Sales or Sales & Marketing Director (not a step‑up)
- Experience in FMCG, consumer goods or product‑based environments
- Strong track record of revenue growth, market expansion and team leadership
- Hands‑on experience with acquisitions and post‑acquisition integration
- Board‑level gravitas, commercial acumen and strategic leadership
Package
£90k salary, up to 10% commission, 10% employer pension, car allowance, private medical, 25 days holiday.
